Description

We will study the sugya of one who kills someone inadvertently while performing a mitzva. This sugya is the source in Shas for the4 fundamental distinction between a Mitzva and a Hechsher Mitzva. The case of cutting trees to use the wood for a Succa is the classic case of a Hechsher mitva. We will learn that in certain cases striking a person is a mitzva per se.
