Description

Pages 82-85. The natural movement of creation is up in an attempt to fulfill it's full potential. Everything wants to reveal and achieve its full goodness, both spiritual and physical realities. The trait of chesed represents many things becoming one and stasis. Gevura is the opposite, represented by separation and movement. Therefore, all actions, physical and intellectual, require inspiration and motivation to express their movement. This motivation and agitation, is the embodiment of gevura. Peace and tranquility embodies chesed. The Jewish people's duty is to clarify what is good and bad, and continuously move and improve the good. The optimal way this is done is through prayer. Prayer is the personal song of creation.
