Chapter 13, pages 33-34. Redemption happens in the revealed and hidden realities of the world simultaneously. In the outer shell of existence, the mode of redemption is from bottom to top. However, in the inner dimensions of reality, redemption begins with the top and moves down to the bottom. The world was created something from nothing, therefore, every element of creation has been touched by the infinite light of God. The ability to return to its pristine form comes from that light, which is also the light of redemption. Those elements of creation that find themselves in low places, have the ability to raise sparks from the depths. However, if one purposefully enters into the kelipos, then the light of Moshiach becomes poisoned.
