Description

Is the Eid zomem punished for the violation of the Lav of Lo Ta'aneh? As an overview of many of the Sugyot that we have studied, we will review a shiur by Morinu, the Rav, in which Reb Chaim's insight into the unique case of Eidim Zomemim and the MeChayev HaOnesh, is presented and analyzed. In the second half of the shiur, we will study the sugya of Rotzeach B'Shogeg on Masechet Makot 8a. We will try to define Shogeg in the case of someone who was killed in a public domain.
