We begin our study of Hilchot Muktza with the laws that reflect the principle of Miggo, a principle which the Gemara accepts L'Halacha at the end of Masechet Shabbat. The sugya clearly accepts Miggo as far as Muktza machmas Issur, and by extension, to a Basis L'Muktza machmas Issur. But would Miggo apply to other categories of Muktza? Would Tenai circumvent the issue of Miggo? And what are the Halachos that apply to candlesticks in our time?
