Packets from Rav Mottel Zilber, pages 22-23. There is a topic called Ahavas Yisrael ("Loving Jews"). This was the topic of study amongst the circle of the Besht. Many anecdotes and teachings from the lives of tzaddikim revolve around this topic. There are two ways to view these stories. Either as nice teachings or as the depth and truth of life. Studying the actions of people who give their entire existence to lightening the burden of other Jews is the fountain from which we must draw. Everything else in the world is only possible if we love our fellow Jew like the tzaddikim do. The Besht taught his disciples to love even the most wicked Jew more than someone loves the greatest Jew in the world.
