Pages 74-77. The trait of Gevura has contrasting features. It builds and it destroys. A representation of Gevura is through fire, which both has positive and negative energy. This trait is the foundation of creation. It allowed for creation and allows us to do our work in this world. Gevura draws its ability from the 42 letter name of God. The 42 letter name is the ability for everything that is struggling to ascend to its ideal state. Implanted in creation was the ability to raise everything up. Creation was the greatest descent but through the same trait we can enact the highest ascent. Our goal is to lift up the world. To release the spring that has been pushed down since creation. Then the world will leap to its ideal state.
