We complete the first Perek of Masechet Makot, and analyze the methodology of Rebby Tarfon and Rebby Akiva who declare, "Had we sat on the Sanhedrin, no one accused of a capital crime would ever be put to death". Then we will begin our introduction to the Second Perek, and discuss the difference between Derech Yerida & Derech Aliya with regard to an unintentional murderer.
