However, chassidus reveals the opposite. The lower down a person goes, the more trust God has in them to withstand any trial. It is a sign of the person's greatness. The Jewish soul is exalted and its greatness shines, especially in the last generation. The choice remains within to reveal or hide that greatness. However, through any trial or shortcoming, a Jew's soul stays connected to God. This exalted level is the root of Ahavas Yisrael. Finding good points in Jews reminds us of a Jews true nature, to be good. We must believe that other Jews are good.
