What is the status of food Illegally cooked on Shabbat? There are many variables and situations, we will create a conceptual framework for the understanding of this complex sugya by beginning to analyze the laws that apply to: 1) A Jew who cooked on Shabbat; 2) A Jew who left a pot of food on an open fire on Friday before Shabbat; and 3) The case of food cooked on Shabbat by a non-Jew on behalf of the Jew.
