We will continue our study of Makot 6a: and focus on the machlokes between Rebby Yossi & Rebby regarding the disqualified witness. Under what circumstances does this Eid become part of the Kat (unit) and disqualify the Eidim Keshairim. It would seem that according to Rebby Yossi, seeing is sufficient to integrate all the witnesses into a single Kat. It is only Rebby who requires more than simply witnessing the crime. Tos' however change our understanding of Rebby Yossi as we shall see.
