This shiur is meant to serve as an introduction to the laws of Tzedakah. Our primary source will be the Rambam Hilchot Matnas Aniyim in the Book of Zeraim. We will address a variety of issues including how much money must one give, the case of a married woman - does she need the permission of her husband?, the case of one who has the ability to give but refuses to do so, may a Jewish person accepts gifts from non-Jews, and many other questions.
