Can an individual create a condition in his transaction which contravenes the Torah law? Our sugya will analyze two contradictory statements of Shmuel, one with regard to Shemitta, where Shmuel maintains that one cannot extend a loan that will be unaffected by shmitta, the second, Shmuel maintains that one can sell an item that will not be subject to the law of Ona'ah, i.e. overcharging.
