If the accused has no money to pay, why shouldn't the eidim zomimim be obligated to pay the accused? And even if the eidim cannot pay, they are obligated to pay whenever they come into money? Can the eidim claim that they were unaware of the financial situation of the accused and therefore they never intended to have the accused sold as an eved? We will study the insights of the two greats of Dvinsk, the Or Sameach and the Rogetchover.
