Must one love his fellow Jew the same way he loves himself? We will study the controversy between the Rambam and the Chinuch on the one hand, and the Ramban on the other. Can a son perform surgery on his Father? What does this mitzva tell us about dating for marriage? Is burying the dead included in this mitza? Did Hillel convert this mitzva into a Lav prohibiting jealousy? What Jew is included in the definition of "Re'acha" of this mitzva? We will study the insights of the Chazon Ish, and of HaRav Avraham Sherman, with regard to the Halachik attitude towards Jews who are non-observant.
