When the eidim zomemim testify that so-and-so's Shor HaMuad killed a man, and the owner must pay Kofer, why don't the eidim pay that amount as they tried to force him to pay? Why don't the witnesses pay for the ox which was meant to be stoned? If the eidim zomemim confess to having been proven to be zomemim in a different court, why don't they pay by their own confession?
