Thank you Rabbi Romm,

Very enjoyable shiur, very clear and interesting and thought provoking.

With regards to teshuvah without a prior sin, along the line of what you mentioned from Rabbi Solovechiks droshos, that there's always room for self improvement.

Kabala and Chassidus is replete with this concept, where teshuvah means much more then just repepnting for a sin, it means returning to Hashem. Based on the possuk koheles 12:7 'vhoruach toshuv e-l hoelokim asher nitnah' and the spirit (neshama) should return to the G-d who gave it.

Throughout ones life one is to constantly strive to return to their soul-root, Hashem, returning and climbing, higher and higher each and every day on this earth..
