Does Psik Reisha depend on the manner in which he violates the prohibition, or on the theoretical possibility of avoiding the violation? Does the Aruch's requirement of Nicha Lei in Psik Reisha apply to Shabbat or to all Issurim? Does Psik Reisha apply to Issurei HaNaah? These and other questions will be addressed in this shiur. We also study the chiddush of the Chofetz Chaim regarding the sugya in Bava Basra that requires you to go down another road. We will look at the chiddush of the Sfas Emes that Lo Efshar is the same as Shelo Kederech Hana'asan.
