Rebby Yehoshua ben Levi and Ulah establish - in Megillah 4a - the double mitzva of Megilla by day and megilla by night. They derive this from two different verses in Tehilim and the nature and goal of Megilla reading reflects these two fundamentally different themes of these two verses. Is Megilla tefillah or Shevach?
