Description

Rabbi Haber shlita explains that Yitzchak Avinu's Seeing the Shechinah and Seeing into Shamayim when he was on the mizbe'ach IS THE GOAL of Klal Yisrael; we must reach the level of the closeness to Hashem that Yitzchak Avinu reached when he was on the mizbe'ach. Can we attain that GOAL notwithstanding our sins? Do we need a defense attorney? Yitzchak Avinu, in a logical discussion with Hashem, exempts himself as a defender of Klal Yisrael and defers to Hashem, the Ultimate Judge. "They are YOUR children," after all!
