Rava offers a new approach to understand what underlies Rebby Yehuda's prohibition of Chametz in the 5th hour on Erev Pesach. Rejecting the previous approach which is based on the premise that people will confuse the 7th hour with the 5th despite the fact that the 5th is in the am and the 6th is when the sun tilts towards the west. Rava suggests that Rebby Yehuda requires burning the chometz & will need to guarantee that people will realize when to begin preparations for the burning. Ravina rejects Rava by claiming that Rebby Yehuda will admit that after sha'as biuro any method of destruction is acceptable.
