How do we reconcile the concept of Chetzkato Baduk with the braita's requirement of the testimony of the woman or the child? How does bittul operate, is it a removal of the shem Ochel, or monetary Hefker? Is bittul a mitzva of Tashbitu, or simply a protection from Bal YaRaeh? If the landlord agreed to implement bedika and failed to live up to that commitment, can the tenant claim Mekach Taut, i.e. misrepresentation, and cancel the rental agreement? These and other questions will be addressed in this shiur.
