Description

In this section, the Rav presents the thesis that man cannot find God on his own. Neither the discovery of God through nature, nor the abstract philosophical arguments for the existence of God will succeed in sustaining man's discovery of God. God alludes man. And even when man comes so close to finding God seeing His Hand in nature, nevertheless sin will generate "siluk shechina" the hiding of God. Man needs faith. This faith is a result of revelation.
