In this series called Tools for Brisk, we attempt at grouping Chakirot according to their structure, and illustrating each group by bringing many examples that demonstrate the chakira. Here we are studying the chakira called Mechayev/Chiyuv, in which we analyze what generates an obligation. We have chosen ten examples of Sugyot that require analysis by applying this structure and raising the question "what's the Mechayav"?
