Description

Our mesroah is that R Akiva's talmidim died during the time period of Sefirat Haomer. The original minhag aveilus was to not get married. Why was that particular minhag chosen? Apparently, there is a connection between the 'Lo nahagu kavod zeh bazeh' and marriage. Rav Willig explains this connection beautifully.
