Description

Is Shimon required to distance his ditch a full 6 tfachim from the border in a situation in which Reuvain was permitted to dig his Bor contiguous to the border between his field & Shimon's? Rabbenu Yonah quotes an opinion that maintains that Shimon need not be marchik any more than 3 tfachim. In this shiur we will try to analyze the controversy on this issue. The question of the Nesivos - how could Shimon be called upon to protect the kosel of Reuvain's Bor which is located in Shimon's own property - will be investigated.
