R. Yehoshua b. Levi rules that women are obligated to light Chanukah candles, on the basis of a principle- אף הן היו באותו הנס. Likewise, R. Yehoshua b. Levi appeals to the same principle to establish an obligation for women in two other areas; megillah on Purim, and daled kosos on Pesach. This shiur deals with the precise definition of this principle, in the context of these three areas of halachah.
