We will study the two interpretations of the Hava Amina - had the Mishna said "Oso" instead of "HaKosel" - that of Rashi & Tos'. What is a "masifas", what purpose does it serve, and is it compulsory? How does the agreement made between the neighbors upgrade the basic masifas to something more? We will try to understand the three levels that Tos' postulates, the "masifas garuah" which is compulsory, the Kosel which resolves Hezek reiah, and the high-grade mesifas which is generated by the mutual agreement of the partners. What purpose does this high level mesifas serve?
