Gemara:
Ravina surrounds Runya's field with a fence and sues Runya to pay for half the expenses. When Runya refuses, Ravina lowers his claim, and asks Runya to pay for cheap reeds, and eventually Ravina asks for the cost to hire a watchman. Is Ravina trying to settle out of court, or is there a formal "mechila" on his part? Ravina comes before Rava to sue Runya and Rava rules like Rav Huna in the previous sugya to the effect that the Nikaf must pay the actual cost of the fence Ravina erected. How do we reconcile that with the actual claim of Ravina "pay for the hire of a watchman"?
