Description

The Sugya offers three variations to the machloket between the Tanna Kama & Rebby Yossi according to Chiya bar Rav. This shiur will pay special attention to the second variation, according to which the Tanna Kama holds that if the Nikaf puts up the fourth wall he pays for all four walls, but if the Makif puts up the fourth wall, the nikaf pays only for the fourth wall. We will need to refer to a Sugya in Yevamot 37b which records a machloket as to whether Kam Dina or Hadar Dina.
