The Mishna establishes that since both partners are obligated to build the wall, therefore, when the wall falls we divide the stones equally between the partners. The Gemorah explains that if not for the logic of the Mishna, we could have suggested that if the wall falls into the yard of Reuvain, he will be believed to claim that he built the wall single-handedly and the stones are his. The Mishna teaches that Reuvain is not the "muchzak" and the stones are divided equally among the partners. In this shiur, we will study the approach of Rabbenu Yona to the question as to why Reuvain is not considered the "muchzak".
