The Rashba's explanation of Rashi presents three dinim, and Shimon the defendant committed himself to solve the problem of Hezek Reiah. But how do we explain the sugya according to the other Rishonim who accepted the Aruch's definition of a Mesifas as a wall with windows? There was no committment on the part of Shimon to address the problem of HeZek Reiah!
