Because of all the debates between rabbis and christians, the rabbanim were forced to write down exactly how the Jewish religion is different from other religions. What is the difference between a mitzva and a hora'as sha'ah? Can what is counted in taryag mitzvos change from generation to generation? Where do the names of the lunar months come from? Haftorah-Hashamayim Kisii- why do we read the next to the last pasuk, after reading the last pasuk? Is there a mitzva aliya to the mikdash on rosh chodesh?
