<p>Dear Rabbi Shaffer</p> <p>I have bveen following your Shiurim on Shmuel and Melachim. However, there are several issues which I find difficulty in understanding.&nbsp;</p> <p>For example, in the current chapter of Melachim, you mentioned, in more less these words, referring to Gad Hananvi: "I cannot remember the name of the second <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">GUY</span></strong>", my emphasis. Although I speak Kings English, being British by birth, I find the usage of the word "GUY" rather unbefitting youself and especially a Navi of Hashem. Please comment.</p> <p>In addition, I believe that in the Kriyat Shema Al Hamitta, we mention King Shlomo in the form of: "הנה מטתו שלשלמה...". Therefore, your comment that Shlomo HaMelach is not mentioned in any prayers as being somewhat incorrect.</p> <p>Furthermore, if I understand Shlomo HaMelach and his Beth Din institued Netilat Yadayiim.
