Description

There's a fundamental Machlokes between R'Shimon and the Rabbanon whether a C-Section results in a Halachic birth for the mother to become a Yoledes. The Gemera tries to determine the status of a C-Section birth by comparing it with a Bachor and Kodshim. If a woman has a C-Section during her Yimei Zivah, then either she has Dam Kushi and Tahor, or it's not a birth, so she's a Zavah and needs 7 Nikiim.
