Rabbi Tendler began shiur today by answering some questions about Kaddish, which is steeped in Minhag, not Halachah. Today's shiur primarily covers many general Minhagim about the Seudas Havrah and the Halachos of how a Yom Tov affects Aveylus. The Shulchan Auruch points out that every Yom Tov, whether one day or seven days, will obviate seven days of either Shiva or Shloshim, with the exception of Shemini Atzeres.
