  1. Title: Yoledes Question
    Author: yudi sussman
Hi, I had a couple questions on your shiur: Before we get to the minhag of treating dam tahor like regular dam niddah, there are two points I have: 1) How do we know a lady can't count Shiva Nikiyim while seeing Dam Tahor? M'Diroysa this blood is Tahor and should be no different than urine? 2) Even if she can't count a day as a clean day, who says seeing Dam Tahor is "Soser" Shiva Nikiyim and she must start counting again a new count? Thanks for taking the time to answer.

The minhag was to ignore its status as dam tohar to avoid confusion and treat it as regular dam thus as part of the minhag it is soser like regular dam Sent from my iPhone > On Oct 21, 2018, at 12:28 AM, [email protected] wrote: > > Dear Rabbi Zvi Sobolofsky, > > A question has been posted for you on YUTorah by yudi goldfein. > > yudi goldfein asked this question treated as [public] message. > > Please click here to reply publicly (your response will be visible on the website, and your email address will remain invisible) or click here to reply privately (your message will be sent directly to the questioner, and your email address will be visible to that person only). > > Shiur Title: Hilchas Niddah Part 17 (yoledes (con’t), the “five day wait”) > Subject: Yoledes Question > Question: Hi, I had a couple questions on your shiur: Before we get to the minhag of treating dam tahor like regular dam niddah, there are two points I have: 1) How do we know a lady can't count Shiva Nikiyim while seeing Dam Tahor?
