Description

Today's shiur covers a lot of little Halachos that, as Rabbi Tendler says, are not all Shayich b'Zman haZeh, and some that have larger ramifications in other areas of Halachah as well. Death and burial should not be too exepsnsive. It's only Mutar to move or exhume a Meis under certain circumstances, and it's never permitted to exhume a Meis to do an autopsy for insurance reasons. A coroner may need to confirm a cause of death, but this can be accomplished without a Bizayon HaMes by performing a CAT Scan. The Shulchan Auruch also discusses the case where a person is considered like a Meis even though he's alive, versus a Goses.
