      In Israel, an “exponentially” increasing number of Torah pamphlets are to be found in the shuls on Shabbos.  (It has become “big business” and in some of these pamphlets one has to search out the words of Torah from amongst the advertisements!!)  After each Shabbos they would reach the genizah and it was becoming impossible to deal with such quantities of material. As a result, there are some poskim who have ruled that these pamphlets can be recycled and there are special containers provided in which to put them.
