The chronicles of Jacob’s life in the book of Genesis are among the richest and most complex in the entire Torah. His narrative is a patchwork of psychological and philosophical struggles. How would we react if Jacob were our son – or our father? By reading his story, what wisdom might we glean about overcoming some of the most important challenger in the 21st century? How do we find the Jacobs in our lives? Using both classical and modern commentaries as our guides, we will search for the answers to these questions and scores of other queries we encounter along the course of our journey.
