As a part of the winter Semeter of Jewish Center University, this class is taught by Mrs. Elana Stein, resident scholar at the Jewish Center of the upper west side. This course will focus on accepted "loopholes" in Rabbinic tradition, in this session: the sale of land in order to avoid the restrictions of shemitah (the sabbatical year).
