Parsha:

Description

This shiur discusses Halachos related to replacing a chazan or a ba'al toke'a. Specifically, the Halacha views someone as having a chazaka on a mitzvah if they have done that mitzvah in the past. During the Yamim Nora'im season, sensitive questions come up related to seat changes, replacing chazanim, and similar issues. This shiur also begins by pointing out that maintaining peace within the Jewish community is a central part of Parshas Ki Tavo. Having refined middos is a fundamental requirement for Am Yisrael to possess in order to serve as an Or Lagoyim.
