When reciting Slichot alone, and choosing to say the 13 attributes of mercy, must you finish the ENTIRE (2nd) VERSE, as we are not allowed to say HALF a verse when reading Torah (which is the essence of the leneincy to say it)? If so, wouldn't it defeat the purpose, as in place of commencing with ונקה/clean, you would say ונקה לא ינקה פוקד עון אבות על...רבעים/G-d DOESN'T clean the sin and it will endure for generations? Music: Selichos Medley performed by Shmulik Sukkot, The Neshama Choir & The Benny Laufer Orchestra
