Description
Divrei Chizzuk by Rav Moshe Weinberger in Camp Kaylie - This shiur explains that the avodah of rebuilding the Beis HaMikdash begins with Azamra — learning to see the hidden good and unique kedushah inside every Jew. The Rambam calls the Mikdash Beis HaBechirah, the place of Hashem’s choosing, and Rebbe Nachman teaches that the tzaddik-shepherd builds the Mikdash in every generation by gathering the “gold, silver, and precious stones” found within each neshama. Since the second Beis HaMikdash was destroyed through sinas chinam, its rebuilding comes through recognizing that every Jew, even one who struggles or feels low, has a holy nekudah that Hashem cherishes. The story of the struggling Levi boy shows how one moment of being reminded of his own greatness can awaken a person back to Yiddishkeit; our task is to see that greatness in ourselves, in our friends, and in every Jew.
