There are exceptions to the prohibition of eating meat and wine during the nine days, such as a bris, bar mitzvah, a siyum, or on Shabbat. However, what if one is tasting the meat they are cooking before Shabbat? What if one's fleishig shaloshudos is running late? Should one use wine for havdalah?
