Description

There was a custom in Italy NOT to lain twice on Shabbat afternoon even if people came late and there was still time till sunset. Why not? If the Baal Koreh is upset and says, after the fact, that he didn't have "intent" to fulfill the obligation of laining for congragation, must they lain over?
