Description

Revealing important and often overlooked connections between the mitzvot of Sefirat HaOmer, Yovel, Megillat Rut based off a theory proposed by the Kli Yakar in the beginning of Parashat Behar. I suggest that these connections offer a profound insight into the greater significance of the goal of Shavuot: renewing and reaffirming our commitment to the Torah. We will explore how this theme expresses itself through various manifestations: Counting (Sefirah), Shofar, Geulah, and the acceptance of the Torah.
