Description

According to a slew oif Poskin, going to minyan is a virture/a מעלה but not a חיוב/obligation. Thus, if circumstances dictate, such as one that gets up very early with the minyan being far later and the like, one would be able to daven without a minyan, just as there would be no leniency to ask a non-Jew to take you by boat to Minyan on Shabbat as it isn't a מצווה
