Description
This shiur discusses the tension we experience on Purim with regards to galus and ge'ulah. Specifically, some sources indicate that Purim is a day where we experience an ultimate ge'ulah while other sources require us to remember that fact that Purim did not end with the true ge'ulah. The shiur highlights Halachos related to the fact that the miracles of Purim took place outside of Eretz Yisrael. The shiur concludes with the approach of Rav Schachter regarding the establishment of Purim as a holiday.
