Description

We look at the way that outside culture and society can impact and influence, Jewish Life and Religious Practice. We will see that there are vast areas that are neutral, others that are unacceptable and others in between. We focus on music as an example of all three and look at the Marseillaise, Adon Olam, Ovadiah of Oppido, and Renaissance and Baroque Music. We finish off with a brief discussion of Blintzes on Shavuot.
